| As the accelerated construction of some infrastructure and key projects of state, theimpact factors of uneven distribution geographically scattered of energy and mineralresources of our country, make the heavy goods traffic is increasing. Since the side-dumpsemi-trailer can greatly improve the transportation efficiency of coal, building materials,minerals and other scattered goods, which received widespread concern. Frame as a keybearing parts of side-dump semi-trailer, the structure and performance directly related to thesuccess or failure of the vehicle design. In the side-dump semi-trailer design, finite elementanalysis on the frame and structure optimization design is important for improving thequality and reducing the cost of vehicle production.In this paper, JDL9400ZX type side-dump semi-trailer which have been designed andmanufactured by a special purpose vehicle plant in Hebei province as the research object,firstly use3D modeling software of UG6.0and finite element analysis software ofHyperWorks to establish the model of the frame and the finite element respectively. Thenmake the analysis of static strength and stiffness and modal analysis of the frame in thethree typical conditions; and optimize the structure design in which the frame girder andhydraulic cylinders bearing as the design variables. Finally, to make the modeling analysisof optimization results again, the analysis results show that it is not only improves theperformance of the frame but also achieves the aim to get a lightweight frame and verifythe necessity and feasibility of the optimization design for the frame. |
