Qingdao Metro Line3, which has been put into construction, is the first subwayline in Qingdao. It stresses great significance and urgency so that study on the durabilityof subway concrete is imperative. Based on the weightiness of subway structure,specialty of service environment and the diversity of construction methods, the purposeof study is to make durably targeted design for subway concrete structure and bringforward effective solutions to its construction, monitoring, structural work lifeprediction and other issues. This paper is committed partially to “Study on Durability ofQingdao Subway Concrete Materials and Structures,” which is with great economicimportance and social benefits. The paper not only plays a pivotal role in improving thedesign level and project construction of Qingdao subway, but also has tremendouslyacademic value in study on the durability of subway concrete.This paper will do research on the geographic location, environmental-climaticconditions and the structure of parts, construction methods and other aspects ofQingdao subway, then it will analyze the environmental conditions of Concrete incoastal areas and Inland areas of Qingdao subway and later it moves on to detaileddiscussion of environmental divisions and environmental effect levels of the Structuralcomponents of Qingdao subway.Not only is the concrete durability design of Qingdao metro engineering mentioned,the technique request of metro’s durable concrete is also discussed. According to therelated documents and standards home and abroad, it talks about the importantdurability basic parameters, such as subway engineering concrete strength and thechlorine ion diffusion coefficients. Moreover, it specifically introduces the concretereinforced cover thickness values for each area of Qingdao subway structureengineering, as also as the multiple durability protection measures of concrete.It proposes the measures which controls the quality of concrete durableconstruction, including raw materials and mix proportion of metro engineering concrete,waterproofing structure, concrete seam water-proof, Construction Supervision Methodof concrete, concrete wet curing and strength control of detaching the mold plates, sitetest and long-term test of the quality of concrete structure construction etc. Besides, itintroduces methods predicting the probability of the working life of Qingdao metro’sreinforced concrete structure, and economic analysis of metro life cycle cost.
