The Research Of Durability Performance Of SCR Box Based On Frequency Accelerated Theory

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology is an effective shortcut for NOx andcan improve fuel oil consumption, what’s more it has strong capacity of anti-sulfur.Therefore, assembling SCR aftertreatment system is the best way for large power diesels tomeet EuroⅣ and EuroⅤ standards. But high priced SCR box is of big volume and mass，and it works in a very hard conditions where there is engine vibration，road load and hightemperature，so it required highly at durability design. To improve durability performanceof products，shorten development duration and achieve cost reduction，accelerateddurability test is usually needed at bench.The durability development of SCR Box was a part of joint development betweenTenneco Automobile Industry China Technical Center and Energy and Power EngineeringCollege of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, so one truck SCR Box was takenas the research object in this paper to provide an frequency domain accelerated durabilitytest approach based on damage and failure equivalence, with which the electronic shakerwas dominated by PSD spectrum synthesized from road acquisition time domain data.Aim at above targets, the main studies includes such contents: Firstly, aim at thecharacteristic of signal test, the world-leading corresponds apparatuses were used, and builtup the whole test and collection system to finish road load data acquisition test. Then, thesignals were early processed and analyzed at frequency domain, and PSD spectrum wassynthesized for SCR box to develop accelerated test. In addition to this, products whosequality was equal to rig test samples were tested on proving ground, by comparing the testresults, the reliability of frequency domain accelerated test approach wad validated. So theresults and approach of this task can be put into automotive durability experiment very well.
