With the increase and common of ship trade, security and reliability requirement ofship electrical power system become more and more high, the scale and capacity of systemare more and more big, complicated degree of system structure is more and more high.Environment of ship electrical power system is severe and it has intrinsic defects. Sointerference that exterior or inner can make ship electrical power system collapse. Theseinterferences are likely to make a subsystem collapse suddenly, and it may cause chaineffects collapse, ultimately the whole of ship electrical power system will collapse. Sobrittleness is to describe the function of complex power electric system.From a new point of view, the security and reliability of ship electrical power systemare researched. As a basic characteristic is introduced, the research on brittleness is still onthe start stage. The research object of this paper is ship electrical power system. This maintask is to establish brittleness model of the system.Firstly, this paper introduces the definition, characteristic and the mathematicaldescription of brittleness of the ship electrical power system. It was pointed out thatstimulation conditions of brittleness of ship electrical power system, it gives complex powersystem to ship brittle transfer model.Secondly, based on the brittleness model of systems, the edges describe the brittlenesslink between two subsystems, and the weight of edges are described the degree of brittlenesslink between two subsystems. The particle swarm optimization algorithm and ant colonyalgorithm are used to seek out the path that most likely to collapse, that is the biggestcollapse path. Through prevent and control the biggest collapse of brittleness can effectivelyprevent occurrence of brittleness and the collapse of the whole system. Further shows theevolution of the brittle process of ship electric power system.Thirdly, based on theory of AC current and agent digraph, brittleness model of shipelectrical power system is established. When a subsystem collapses, the current of systemwill be redistributed. According to the balance conditions of ship electrical power system,AC current is used to adjust to current of the whole system, and makes the system tomaintain stable range as possible as.Lastly, based on chaos theory, analysis the relation between chaos and brittleness.Brittleness model is provided of ship electrical power system of mixed feeder type. Thesystem is disturbed by the interference of chaotic conditions, and brittleness is inspired. Solving the kolmogorov entropy, tests the disorder degree of system. Research on Lyapunovindex, analysis the system whether in a mess after brittleness was stimulated. Furtherexpounds the close relation between chaos and brittleness.The combination of these methods is good to understand and analyse the brittleness ofship electrical power system. It can effectively prevent and control the brittleness happen,improving the system reliability and security.
