With the development of Chongqing urbanization, the city, which is filled withhigh density of high buildings, would enhance the affect of earthquake and itssecondary disaster. Chongqing commercial centre is composed by linear streets andplane square. The section of the lineare streets appear to be high and narrow for thesurrounding high buildings. Once the earthquake occurs, the safety of the streets willbe the key of safe evacuation for they are the essencial ways to pass through.Besides, the exsisting disaster prevention planning focuses on the masterplanning, lacking the conection of urban design. The research of evacuation road inChongqing commercial centre is of great significance in carrying out the masterplanning and ensuring people to escape quicily and safely from the risk.The thesis focuses on the evaluation method of evacuation road in Chongqingcommercial centre and its control strategy. The evaluation method includes theselection of evaluation factors, weight calculation, quantization and data processing.To provide the theory support, the research tries to explore the quantitative method ofevacuation road safety in urban design layer.The article adopts the Grey Relational Analysis Method to be the tool of dataprocessing by comparing the exsisting evaluation method. Based on the relativeliterature, the impact factors of evacuation road safety are summarized, combiningwith the space features of Chongqing, which is famous for its unique mountainouslandform. The research selects the evaluation factors and calculates the weight byDelphi Method, followed by the discussion of factors quantization. Then take theChongqing Sha Pingba commercial centre as the example, collect the data such as thewidth of main roads, road barriers etc., and analyse the data by Grey RelationalAnalysis Method to get the sequence of road safety. In the last, the control strategy isproposed to be coordinated with the evaluation factors.The research draws the conclusions are as follows.1.The Safety evaluation of evacuation road in commercial centre based on GreyRelational Analysis is feasible, operable and reliable.2.Quantitate the evaluation factors and their weight, which is helpful to thedecision of disaster prevention and emergency evacuation.3. Propose strategy to control the road width, front-street form, buildings fire resist, green isolation, evacuation marks to improve the safety of evacuation road.
