With the development of the economy, our country has entered high-speed development stage of urbanization and motorization. At present, in order to give attention to the radiation value between different equipment, the strong and weak electricity systems are located in both sides of the station or separately in the two layers. Due to the limited space of the urban rail traffic system, using independent room to locate the mechanical and electrical system will lead to the meaningless waste of the land resources. Thus, the co-construction of the strong and the weak electricity systems is urgent to be solved.Due to the lack of research on co-construction in the same site home and abroad, in order to improve the layout of the system, ensure the compatibility between strong and weak electricity systems, saving the investment and the equipment room, this paper makes a research on the electromagnetic simulation and harmonic analysis of the most important strong equipment-the 24-pulse rectifier unit. The 24-pulse rectifier unit is divided into two parts, the first part is the harmonic analysis of the 24-pulse rectifier unit; the second part is the electromagnetic modeling and simulation of the transformer. At first, it makes a circuit modeling of the 24-pulse rectifier unit, realizes the harmonic component analysis and the research on the harmonic electromagnetic field in use of the MATLAB and CST.Then it completes the electromagnetic modeling and the simulation of 24-pulse transformer by the electromagnetic analysis software CST.It also analyzes the important role that plays in the co-construction in the same site.This paper reaches the distribution of electromagnetic field and the effect of harmonic by the research on the rectifier unit in subway. It also provides a strong theoretical basis to the Wuxi rail traffic construction. It makes certain significance to other cities on design of rail construction.
