The diesel engine is the most commonly used one of the power source of machineryequipment,it is widely used in the host of the ship,engineering machinery and variety ofgenerators and other fields.Complex structure of the diesel engine,the working environment isrelatively poor and the working conditions varied,it will cause considerable economic lossesand even lead to a serious security incidents if a component failure is not promptlyrepaired.Hence it is necessary for the health of the diesel engine monitoring and diagnosis ofthe failure parts to reducing unnecessary losses.With the continuous development of science and technology,embedded system set off aboom.The progress of chip technology enables a single chip also has a stronger and moreefficient processing capabilities,while a variety of interfaces can be integrated in the chip.Awide range of embedded system applications has been used in the field of industrial control,information appliances,traffic management in many fields.This article describes the embedded fault diagnosis system based on embedded hardwareplatforms,use TI’s DSP-TMS320F28335 as the core processor,expansion outside on the basisof the minimum system.Hardware circuit mainly includes power supply and reset circuit,SDcard storage module,Ethernet communication module and CAN bus communication module.Enable it to achieve the status signal to the diesel engine to the collection,storage,processingand diagnosis,to achieve the purpose of online condition monitoring and fault diagnosis.
