This paper is mainly study the application performance of APEO-free noionic surfactants in architecture coating. Compare the wetting and defoaming performance of APEO and APEO-free surfactants. Screen different pigment and fillers in70%PVC formulation, and select proper pigment and filler combination of the formulation. Screen different type defoamers in70%PVC formualtion., and select proper defoamer of the formulation. Test the overall performance of paints that contain APEO surfactants and APEO-free surfactants in different binder and different PVC level formulation, find that APEO-free surfactants can replace APEO surfactants in all type architecture coating.In this paper, discuss the harmfulness of APEO surfactants to the enviroment, and enviroment friendly APEO-free surfactants advantage in water based coating.In different binder type:APEO-free surfactants have good compatibility performance. In different binder level:APEO-free surfactants have relative or slighter better overall performance than APEO surfactants in water based coating system. APEO-free surfactants can been used to make real enviroment friendly coating. |
