With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, more and more equipments have largely increased our choices and energy management has being an urgent problem to solve. The traditional management systems have shortcomings, and mostly just provide energy consumption monitoring and simple control. There has been almost no consideration for the possible influence of the equipment failure and operation optimization. To solve the problem, some building electric equipment fault diagnosis methods, as well as energy optimization control methods, are presented based on Internet of Things. It provides nice theory and technical support for the operation optimization management.The dissertation focuses on three aspects, that is, the architecture of the database which is used to store and manage the data information, the fault diagnosis methods for the building electric equipment, the research about the system energy optimization. Detailed research contents are as follows:First of all, technology and the building electrical equipment networking system are introduced. The environmental parameters or other information of buildings are acquired on the basis of the Internet of Things. The database of the system is making use of SQL SERVER 2000. This will not only realize the storage and management of the huge amounts of information but also lay a solid foundation for fault diagnosis and saving energy research. Next, paper designs fault diagnosis combining with the mass information and characteristics of the system. The system extracts all kinds of information in the database, such as the environment information, the personnel information, the equipment running status and parameters. It also provides analysis and judgment of the data, and takes appropriate decisions to achieve the fault diagnosis purpose. Once more, the energy-saving optimization is carried out combining the data in a database. The building energy conservation also has been discussed from a new direction using the game theory in economics. It is a new attempt. The game model of the system is constructed. Also, the existence of the Nash equilibrium solution of the game model is proved. We analysed the results of this energy-saving method with the greater volume of data. Furthermore, the interfaces are designed for the users to operate easily. A real platform of the building electrical equipment networking system is built in the information building of Shandong Jianzhu University. By taking advantage of the platform, we proved the validity of the proposed methods.In this paper, Nash equilibrium game theory is applied in the field of intelligent building. Pilot studies are carried out on the game energy optimization algorithm. The research can provide a new way for building energy conservation, and may sever a good reference for energy consumption monitoring or smart grid. Meanwhile, it will make great contribution for the development of game theory. The research in this field has great significance both in theory sense and engineering practice.
