This paper mainly discusses the FlexRay network modeling, network node’s hardware and software design and its application on hybrid vehicle bus. The first is the use of the NetWork Designer and CANoe7.0developed by Germany Vector company.I establish a FlexRay network database and complete the network simulation with them. In the establishment of database, setting up a series of trunking protocol parameters is necessary, and it is related to the normal communication of network. I can analysis the performance of network according to model communication simulation. The second is the development of network hardware; The Freescale microcontroller MC89S12XF512and NXP driver TJA1080are main part of hardware circuit and the Code Warrior is the program tool. Hardware mainly includes chip peripheral circuit design and transceiver design. Software development mainly includes the clock settings, FlexRay model’s initialization and data transmission and reception and so on. The setting up of message buffer and protocol parameters is the main part of FlexRay model’s initialization. After that, we can use the gateway of FlexRay-CAN on hybrid vehicle. The last is the analysis of FlexRay communication network. According to the simulation model, we analyze the communication delay, network utilization and network reliability. And it also indicates that FlexRay is better than other bus.According to the comparison between theoretical calculation and simulation, we approve the protocol parameters are right, and the network can work well. By LED’s twinkling and communication simulation, we approve our design is reasonable. In conclusion, this paper contains61pictures,7tables and45references.
