Silent chain is widely used in the field of transmission,which has the characteristics of low noise,high reliability and high motion accuracy.In this paper,the wear characteristics of dual-phase transmission Hy-Vo silent chain system are studied under the support of Jilin Province Science and Technology Planning Program “ Research on Multiphase Hy-Vo Chain System Key Technologies ”(20150204075GX)and NSFC Project “Research on Variation Mechanism and Key Design Technology of Silent Chain”(51305154).In order to study the wear characteristics of the dual-phase Hy-Vo silent chain,three kinds of meshing mechanism models of the chain were established before the wear test.In this paper,three kinds of tooth models are simulated in multi-body dynamics respectively,and the running track of silent chain and the contact force of chain plate in the simulation results are analyzed and compared.The results show that the inner-outer compound meshing mechanism has the most stable running track and less contact force among the three meshing mechanisms,so the innerouter compound meshing mechanism is selected for wear test.In this paper,the wear test of dual-phase Hy-Vo silent chain was carried out.The center distance at different times was recorded and the elongation of the center distance was calculated.By comparing the center distance elongation of single-phase Hy-Vo silent chain with that of dual-phase Hy-Vo chain,it shows that the dual-phase Hy-Vo chain has superior wear resistance.During the research of the silent chain,it is found that the wear of the outer and inner tooth profiles of the chain plate will also affect the normal operation of the silent chain.Based on the Arcard wear theory,this paper establishes the wear calculation formula of the chain plate and proves the accuracy of the wear calculation formula by comparing the calculated value of the wear with the measured value of the wear.In order to study the wear characteristics of the dual-phase Hy-Vo silent chain,the stress of pin and chain plate in the meshing process of the chain was observed and analyzed by establishing the rigid-flexible coupling model of the dual-phase HyVo silent chain.Through the analysis of the experimental results,it is found that the maximum stress of the pin and the chain plate occurs when the chain plate and the sprocket mesh,and the stress is mainly concentrated on the large face of the pin and the location of the pin shaft and the chain plate.In order to determine the wear part of the silent chain and compare with the simulation results,the test chain was disassembled in this paper.Through macro observation,it was found that the main wear part of the silent chain was concentrated in the large face of the pin,the inner and outer tooth profiles of the chain plate.The micro morphology of the main wear parts of the pin and the chain plate were analyzed and the wear mechanism was studied.In conclusion,this paper shows that the dual-phase Hy-Vo silent chain has superior wear characteristics,and establishes the wear formula of the tooth profile of the chain plate.In this paper,the stress distribution and change in the meshing process of the chain plate are analyzed,and the macroscopic and microscopic observation of the worn chain plate are carried out,which is of great significance to further study the wear problem of the silent chain.
