Nowadays, automatic transmissions are more and more used in the automobile industry. Electrically controlled mechanical Auto Manual Transmission (AMT) not only possesses the advantage of hydraulic automatic transmission like automatic transmission, but also retain the advantages of original manual transmission, they are high efficiency, low cost, simple structure and easy to manufacture. In the design of the AMT, the quality of the microcomputer control system of automatic control system directly determines the AMT performance and operation quality.The AMT CAN bus detector involved in this topic is designed for the automotive early research and development test. In road test before each car released, it focus on the data automatic transmission control unit(TCU) send and does various data analysis and comparison. It also provides a good human-machine interface for commissioning staff and assists the instructors to understand the vehicle performance.This topic first discussed the background and significance of the system application and then introduces the whole content and structure. The second chapter states the system needs of AMT CAN bus detector and puts forward specific design scheme base on the concrete structure, function and reliability requirements. According to the proposed design, the three and four chapters separately introduced corresponding hardware design and software design. At the aspect of hardware design, using the modular design, these chapters respectively introduced the design of power module, controller module, screen display module and CAN bus transceiver module. On the software design, these chapters presented the μCOS transplantation of embedded system used in the design proposal, μCGUI transplantation in display, hardware device driver design and the whole data processing software structure.
