As people’s knowledge of car safety rising, electronic stability program ESPassembly rate continuously improve, and the work of calibration in each of vehicledeeply influence the performance of the ESP.Based on the existing ESP program, we embedded CCP Protocol driver code in it.Realizing the ESP calibration interface universal and standardization. Through thehardware in-line simulation technology, we studied and explored the calibrationmethod for ESP. The paper is divided into five chapters, the main content as follows:Chapter one is introduction, detailed describes the ECU calibration andmeasurement interface, and introduces the standard organization ASAP. Analysis ofthe cause of the car instability, and introduces the ESP and working principle of thecontrol method.Chapter two introduces the development of the CCP protocol driver code, thischapter first introduce the main content of the CCP protocol and analyse the CCPprotocol communication mode, message format, then Using CANape softwaregradually realize all function of CCP protocol. Realized the calibration softwareestablishing logical connection with ECU. And then the DAQ mode upload function,EEPROM parameters reading and writing function, CheckSum function, Seed&Keyfunction. At last, analyzed the Vector company provided driver code frameworkprogram flow and the function of the main interface function.Chapter three, analyzed the reason of vehicle instability, introduce vehiclestability control algorithm and control method, The control algorithm makes theerror of yaw rate and the vehicle side slip rate as control objectives based ondifferential braking. In the last listed the ECU parameters and introduce their function.Chapter four through the hardware in loop simulation method, calibrate the twofreedoms model calculation module, tire-road friction coefficient estimation modules,yawing moment decision module, at last through the standard regulations verified thecalibration results.Chapter five, summarizes and conclusions of this dissertation are presented, andprospects of future research is pointed out.
