Ii the background of knowledge-based economy, since1999, China’s college enrollment policy has brought large-scale changes in the universities, the University City as one of the important carrier of the knowledge economy, along with booming. In this paper originated from the rapid construction of the University City in thinking caused by the fusion of social space due to the neglect of spatial relations coordination.This paper first to tease out the previous studies on this article inspire as well as research methods, and the previous part which are not covered in this study as deepen the content of this article. The article is divided into four main part:empirical research, comparative analysis, the form of summary and coping mechanisms of the four parts.Chapter III, were selected as case studies section of the Nanjing Drum Tower District South-South Normal and Xianlin University City as a comparison of empirical research object. Through field research, questionnaire and interviews in the form of different types of spatial phenomena and move within the region for analysis and presentation, on this basis, the interaction behavior between different groups within the region to be observed, summed up the characteristics of different regions of social space. Reflect the actual effect of differences between the two places, the argument University City requires the need for spatial integrationIi Chapter IIII, case-based research on the different regions of the different space reflects the social characteristics cause by in terms of function and form of the block, the social class gap, the quality of public space and openness, etc. are discussed with the analytical that University City not only to improve the compactness and diversity of the space, but also to create more interactive, thus promoting the exchanges between different social groups to promote integration.Chapter IV discuss the subsequent construction and operation of the built environment from space tools, policy instruments, and cultural means. In order to improve the material and social space, contributed to the University City the formation of good space fusion form.
