In recent years, with the rapid process of urbanization in China and the vigorous development of the construction market, the engineering quality testing and monitoring have attracted more and more attention. In engineering quality inspection, information technology has been more in-depth application, which also makes the work efficiency has been greatly improved. The Internet of things technology as a new information technology, research on it in the engineering quality detection applications, it would be possible for the quality inspection and supervision work brought a new pattern.This paper were studied mainly from the following aspects:First of all, the commonly used structural nondestructive testing technique, principle, influencing factors, characteristics and shortcomings are introduced, and an overview of Internet of things in the composition, characteristics and key technology.Secondly, basised on the technology introduction, this paper researched from the following two aspects of the Internet of things technology in engineering quality inspection application method.1, Engineering quality testing management. Combining the Internet of things technology and management methods,for the first time proposed the construction project quality detection integrated management service platform, and analyzes the basic function of platform, gives the function frame diagram. The establishment of the platform can be achieved on the construction and use of the stage of quality of intelligent inspection and monitoring, to improve the quality of the project supervision level.2, Project quality intelligent detection technology. This paper focuses on the study of the Internet of things technology in structural damage intelligent positioning application. Combinating the Internet of things technology and structural damage intelligent detection theory, based on the Internet of things technology on structure vibration parameter identification damage intelligent positioning method, to a certain extent rapid localization damage floor on the whole structure.Finally, take a8planar layer shear type frame as an example, using the finite element software SAP2000to simulate and analyze. By analyzing, in different damage conditions,the damage state and damage location can be identified effectively. Thus illustrate, using the internet of things technology on structure health diagnosis and damage detection is feasible.
