With the continuous develop of Power Electronics technology, the switching power supply is widely used in industry and living condition. However, it creates harmonics pollution and low power factor are worse and worse. The best way to deal with the harmonics problems and to improve the power factor is choosing the PFC (Power Factor Correction) technology, It is of great significance to study the high-performance PFC for the purpose of harmonics suppression, energy saving and green energy supply.The paper below is mainly discussing with the bridgeless Boost PFC, and then making comparison analysis of the several bridgeless Boost PFC converters. Propose a new bridgeless Dual-Boost PFC Soft-Switching Circuit Topology, which has the features of simple control and low loss while conduction.This paper selects the single period control method designed the control circuit for the new Bridgeless Dual-boost PFC construction. Using the soft-switching net realized Zero Voltage Switching and Zero Current Switching, which would greatly reduces the switching loss of switch and improve the efficiency of converter. In the end, the paper proves the testing the equipment (IR1150Control IC, Input voltage:80~265VAC, Output DC voltage:385V, Output power:300W), which can reach the target of design.The paper contains5chapters. Chapter1presented the detriment of harmonics pollution and the importance of power factor correction. Chapter2analyzed the principle and advantage of several existing Bridgeless Boost PFC circuits, and the control theory of single period method. Chapter3stated principle of the soft-switching technology, analyzed the typical soft-switching topology, indicated that the soft-switching technology is an efficient way to reduce the loss and improve the efficiency of switching supply. Chapter4analyed the principle of proposed the novel Dual-boost PFC soft-switching circuit topology in detailly, provided the design process of parameter and control circuit. In the last Chapter, the correctness of the novel Dual-boost PFC soft-switching circuit is verified by the simulation and experiment, which indicated the novel Dual-boost PFC soft-switching circuit is a high performance power factor correction circuit...
