The digital technology of aero-engine assembly has a positive impact on improving assembly quality, shorten the assembly cycle and reduce production costs. This paper study the tolerance issue for aeroengine virtual assembly, build tolerance model and assembly model based on the UG, study information extraction algorithm of the assembly feature, then extract and store the information a in the SQL Server database. Based on the information established in Assembly features database, the assembly dimension chain can be generated, and can be do assembly tolerance analysis using the conventional method and the Monte Carlo method.The main research contents of this article include: 1) Study the aero-engine Digital Assembly technology, and make a turbine as the study object to build its tolerance model and assembly model based on UG. Based the built object model, study is the organizational structure of the assembly model information of UG, design the information extraction algorithm for UG assembly tree, the store and manage the assembly feature information extracted into SQL Server2000 database;2) Discuss and study the dimension chain technology, and based on the assembly features information database established to study the generation method of assembly dimension chain;3)Study the tolerance analysis method of the assembly chain, comparatively analyze the advantages and disadvantages between the conventional linear analysis methods and Monte Carlo method for tolerance analysis, and an example is computed to compared verified:4)Using the UG secondary development technology, the paper develops the extraction and storage module of assembly feature information, the generation module of assembly dimension chain and the tolerance analysis module of dimension chain, and realize tolerance analysis of the aircraft engine digital assembly.The paper makes a turbine as the object to establish its tolerance model and assembly model; by UG secondary development technology, develop the extraction and storage module of assembly feature information, the generation model of assembly dimension chain and the tolerance analysis module of dimension chain. This research work done is to realize tolerance analysis of the aircraft engine digital assembly.
