Nowadays, the technology has been developing rapidly, but the role of people has become more prominent. In the industrial system, lacks of ergonomics not only do harm to occupational health of workers, but also directly affect production efficiency and product quality.This paper was supported by an ergonomic improving project of a domestic car companies, takes the assembly manufacturing process as the research object, and leads the concepts of ergonomics into automobile manufacturing systems. On the one hand, in order to optimize manufacturing systems based on the computer aided ergonomic simulation makes, and thus ensures safety, health and effective of work. On the other hand, the analysis method of ergonomics reliability can be applied to forecast human error probability of automotive manufacturing system to guarantee the quality of products effectively. The major researches and innovation points of this paper are as follows:1. The development of computer technology makes ergonomics simulation becomes the current research hotspot. This paper chooses JACK as simulation platform, and based on the comprehensive analysis of a car company assembly workshop situation and the existing problems, digital model of the human body and 3D virtual model are constructed in all process of tire repackage and assembly of the chassis line and the whole process of operation is simulated. In this way, the procedure real scene is repeated.2. Working load and occupational health in domestic ergonomics research were still weak. This paper establishes a set of method of quantitative assessing, improving and verifying MMH labor intensity with methods and improvement principles of ergonomic. Considering the characteristics of one multi-task in the actual operation of tire repacking area in automobile manufacturing process, composite lifting index CLI is adopted as Index for quantitative assessment,and uxiliary the method of RULA is used to assess the level of postural load.Finally Improvement is brought up and verified based on evaluation results.3. Aiming at reducing personnel fatigue of assembly work and preventing injury, this paper studies a set of tiredness prediction, evaluation, and control method. This method takes metabolic energy consumption which directly reflects fatigue as a quantitative index, and auxiliary the method of RULA is used to assess the level of postural load. Finally we apply it to the vehicle tire assembly work and put forward improvement scheme and verified.4. In China, the automobile manufacturing are basically labor-intensive and many operations still depend on manual exercises and thus human error is the major factor that affects the quality. So ergonomics application plays a direct role of the product quality. This paper applies reliability analysis method called successful likelihood index method (SLIM) which is often used in high-risk jobs and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to predict error probability in car assembly process. Therefore, we can find what PSFs have a significant impact on human error to provide the basis for taking preventive and improving measures .Finally in terms of quality improvement the human error preventive measure is brought up, and applied in a car company assembly workshop.
