The wind-solar-diesel-battery hybrid power system is a distributed, open system. The generating sets are scatteredly distributed among power generation systems. These power devices can operate independently. but it must be according to the resources of wind and solar and changes of load coordinate or collaborate that can make the power system operates safely, steadily, high-quality and economically. For these features of the wind-solar-diesel-battery hybrid power system, I have researched the wind/photovoltaic hybrid power system optimal design after the collection, collation, analysis and synthesis of the domestic/foreign related information.Firstly, the overall structure of the wind-solar-diesel-battery hybrid power system was designed and the working principle was described. Then the paper has planned microgrid power. The article presented the condition criterion whether a site suits for install power generation system. According to the conditions, the proportion that capacity of PV modules and fans compares with total capacity in the system was established. The method for estimating the lowest capacity of the battery was analyzed. Constraint relations were given in the paper. when the optimization is made, it is need to consider the constraint relations that the options of types and number of components are fixed. The wind/photovoltaic hybrid power system optimization design model was integrated given. A wind and solar hybrid power system design optimization matching method-automatic optimization method was proposed, which meet the load requirements of the premise, to minimize the system’s investment, and the computation is very simple and very suitable for engineering calculations. Then according to the calculation procedure and the data collected on the power grid project to optimize the planning.On the bi-directional inverter, PV components, and fan control technology a detailed study show was given,respectively. Paper presents a bi-directional inverter based SVPWM control scheme. Then we do the research of the maximum power point tracking solar power (MPPT) technology. This paper presents a combination of incremental conductance and fixed input voltage of the duty cycle perturbation MPPT algorithm according to two basic methods of maximum power point tracking.Next there are research and analysis about the topology of wind power generation system of permanent magnet synchronous motor power electronic converters, and its control strategy.The wind-solar-diesel-battery hybrid power supply system was constructed based on the optimal design.Then, overall design of system operation structure was given in the paper. All working conditions of the system during operation were explained. Its working principle and its control were described. And system operating conditions were analyzed in detail.
