With the development of the economy and technology, the need of buildings’ urbanization and modernization are getting higher and higher, the use of underground space are more and more widely, even the multi-storey building also design the basement, underground garage or underground parking, therefore design one not only conforms to the function requirement but also applicability, economy and durability is particularly important. The foundation of the high-rise building most use raft foundation, box foundation and the pile raft foundation, especially in soft soil area. Multi-storey building or small high-rise building general use the independent foundation or raft foundation. In recent years the north area produce a new type of independent foundation with waterproof floor foundation form, the foundation is simple in structure, convenient in construction, but the design of independent foundation with waterproof board often troubled designers. Now designing foundation only follow common independent foundation assume all the vertical load, the waterproof board is only tectonic settings in considering the function of waterproof, which did not consider waterproof board setting in the influence of the independent foundation. In this paper, using ANSYS software to simulate the independent foundation and waterproof board’s stress and the base reaction force distribution, considering the upper structure, ground base and foundation’s interaction, by establishing a structure model numerical methods research the influence of foundation size, column grid size, foundation compression modulus, the upper structure’s load, the thickness and position of waterproof board, which influence the independent foundation base reaction force and waterproof board base reaction force, and the results can provide design basis for such foundation.(1)The artical comprehensive analysis large amounts of relevant literature, puts forward the significance and content of researching this topic.(2) Simple introduce the finite element method and large finite element analysis software ANSYS, and put forward the principle consider common function to simulate and analyze.(3) The waterproof slab and independent foundation integral casting in together, analysis the foundation size, column grid size, the load, elastic modulus, waterproof board thickness, waterproof board position to influence independent foundation base reaction force and waterproof board base reaction force.(4) Consider common function, research the upper structure, the foundation, foundation of joint action principle and mutual influence.(5) The finite element method of the numerical simulation structure, analysis the basement of force and waterproof board base reaction force. Through the analysis of each the affecting factors, all the parameters on the influence of the distribution reverse force, analyze the change of the foundation with the parameters of force rule. Comprehensive the influence factors of the numerical simulation, through the contrast analysis, find the most appropriate waterproof plate thickness and location.Through the above analysis draw the changing trend of bottom stress in waterproof under each factors, get the 350 mm thick waterproof board, on the basis of the above 1 m of settings and calculated by using the reinforcement to design.
