The reliability of rotating stereo garage is related to the safety of persons and vehicles, respectively considering failure modes including the structural strength and stiffness of loading platform main beam, and the movement position accuracy of prevent swinging institutions. The reliability models of the structure and institutions was established and then analyzing reliability and reliability sensitivity. Finally got an evaluation of the changes to determine the design parameters of rotating stereo garage structures and institutions, fully reflecting the sensitivity degree to the impact for the design parameters of rotating stereo garage structure and institutions. Providing reasonable and reliable theoretical basis for the structure and institutions of the rotating stereo garage to optimization design.First, based on the stress-strength interference theory, reliability analysis models of the level main beam structural strength and stiffffess were established through the analysis of the failure modes, and then the limit state functions expressed by the basic variables of structural mechanics such as deflection, modulus of elasticity and the unit geometric parameters and so on was build. In a large sample based on statistical data, considering the distribution parameters characteristics of the basic random variables, dividing the variables into the normal distribution and arbitrary distribution cases; in the small sample data based on statistics, introducing saddle points approximation theory, and then analyze the reliability and reliability sensitivity with different considering to different situations. Finally the main factors to the main beam structural strength and stiffness failure were got through the reliability and reliability sensitivity analysis. Controlling sensitive parameters strictly in the structure optimization design raising the reliability level of level main beam.Second, establishing the reliability analysis model of the prevent swinging institutions as the balancing mechanism for rotating stereo garage based on the motion characteristics. Combining the kinematic position error theory and reliability theory. Analyzing the output component of prevent swinging institutions for reliability and reliability sensitivity, and respectively studying the influence of the mean change of prevent swinging institutions composition and the input angle change on the output component position accuracy. Improving the reliability of prevent swinging institutions with according to get sensitive parameters for the reliability sensitivity design.Finally, setting structural strength and stiffness of the rotating stereo garage level main beam and prevent swinging institutions to the reliability of numerical simulation. Combining the Monte-Carlo method with the MATLAB software and according to the principle of direct sampling of the Monte-Carlo method, the numerical simulations for level main beam structural strength, stiffness and prevent swinging institutions were got based on the a large number of samples. The comparison of the simulation results with the reliability and reliability sensitivity analysis results proved the effectiveness of last result. The reliability analysis graphics based on the powerful matrix calculation and image output program of MATLAB more visually displaying the influence degree that the basic random variables in level main beam structural strength, stiffness and prevent swinging institutions to failure probability. It can be perceived the main beam length and bending section coefficient were the main factors to the level main beam structural strength failure; the main beam length and the cold bending moment hollow steel section size were the main factors to the level main beam structural stiffness failure; while effects of the length of prevent swinging institutions components to the motion position precision of output component were similar.In the optimization design of rotating stereo garage, the reliability sensitivity design of the level main beam structural strength, stiffness and prevent swinging institutions based on the results of the reliability and reliability sensitivity analysis and numerical calculation can improve the reliability degree of the rotating stereo garage.
