Power servo tool post is the core functional component of cnc turning center. It is responsible for the replacement of cutting tools and cutting the workpieces directly, Its reliability is particularly important. As the transposition and the power module of power servo tool holder's important supporting part, deep groove ball bearing's reliability had a great influence on the reliability of the power servo tool holder. Deep groove ball bearing is the most widely used bearing, So the research of its stress and reliability has great significance.Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS and MATLAB as the platform, the deep groove ball bearing's maximum shear stress accuracy changing with the over surplus quantity changes are got out. According to the bearing tolerance and the load feature of specific operating mode, the reliability and reliability sensitivity of deep groove ball bearing are calculated. In the end, joint probability density function is used to establish system fatigue reliability model, The rolling bearing support system fatigue reliability is figured out. Details are as follows:(1) The finite element model of the bearing contact and interference fitted are established using the ANSYS software. The result of ANSYS and theory are compared, and they are almost the same. According to the result of ANSYS, the maximum shear stress accuracy changing with the over surplus quantity changes is figured out.(2) Considering the Bearing design size changes of manufacturing tolerance range and randomness of the load, By Latin hypercube sampling combined with finite element analysis calculation, the maximum shear stress test samples data of the bearing are got out. The function between the stress and size, load are completed using the BP neural net.(3) The reliability and the reliability sensitivity of the bearing are calculated by the method of mean first order second moment, first order second moment for improvement and Monte Carlo. The bearing reliability's sensitive sizes are analyzed, and the parameters' important degree of sorting is figured out.(4) Common cause failure fatigue reliability model which is suited for the system composed of different components is built. Compared with the existing common cause failure fatigue reliability model, it can reflect the characteristics of the system, and adapt to a wider range. Shaft bearing fatigue reliability is calculated using the new model further.In this paper, the stress and strength reliability of deep groove ball bearing were studied. Theoretical basis for 6003 bearing mechanics analysis, reliability design and reliability prediction is provided. Further more, this paper lay the foundation of the bearing structure size optimization, bearing assembly design, the reliability optimization design and reliability robust design.
