This thesis is based on the experimental research, the fundamental mechanical and non—linear behavior of standard concrete block masonry are analyzed and discussed with several theory. FEA method are used.Firstly, the superiority, general situation of application at home and abroad and problem confronted in researching of concrete block masonry and theory development about finite element non-linear analysis is summarized.meanwhile, status of development and significance toward state security house project of non-mortar concrete block is also introduced.Through the experiments of16compression specimens and36shear specimens, referencing related experimental data, the failure pattern, the cracking resistant load, the ultimate capacity of concrete block masonry are analyzed, then the compression strength calculation formulas for non-mortar grouted concrete block are regressed. With calculation and analysis, some conclusions are obtained as follows:(1) Hollow masonry compressive strength depends mainly on the strength of the block, the contribution of low-strength mortar for its compressive strength is small.Through improving strength of mortar to improve the masonry compressive strength is not economical.(2) Mortar compressive strength of grouted masonry is also small, but the mortar layer is the incentive of the entire grouted masonry failure process. The strength ratio of the grouted concrete to block is an important factor affecting the non-mortar grouted concrete masonry.(3)when using mortar, all parts of grouted concrete block were glued into an organic whole, therefore the overall power transmission in the loading process of shear stress is clear, the block failure pattern is relatively simple, and then the discrete of experimental result is small.(4) In order to save overall costs for masonry structure, it is recommended that no n-mortar grouted block was developed, and especially focus on the flatness of the block, reducing the vertical gap between the blocks in the process. At last, based on the former compression experiment and general-purpose finite element program ANSYS,a combined concrete block masonry finite model was established, with contact elements to simulate the process of compression testing. Then analyze the applicability of the combined model and the main factors affecting the masonry compressive strength by changing the analysis parameters. The calculated results were compared with the experimental results to verify the test conclusion. The results of the paper call be used to reference for design of non-mortar concrete block masonry and the theoretical research.
