The pavement is the banded structure to bear the load on the roadbed, It is affected byclimatic factors.And it is an important part in highway construction. Asphalt pavement hassufficient mechanical strength to withstand the loads of vehicles, It have driving comfort,smooth, no dust, lowly vibration and noise, and has been widely used in high-grade roadsurface.With the development of national economy, the amount of traffic the rapid increase inlarge vehicles, overloaded, channels such as a growing problem, put a higher demand on theasphalt pavement. Asphalt pavement structure combinations, asphalt pavement design andconstruction technology have been researched to improve the performance of asphaltpavement. But in the process of practical engineering applications, the asphalt pavement willbe subject to a variety of factors influence the emergence of early cracks, rutting, loose andother diseases,which seriously affect the normal use of the road., Pavement condition,pavement structure design, material selection, construction technology affect theperformance of asphalt pavement seriously.This study combines the G314Kuqa-Aksu highway engineering practice, the goal ofthis paper is focusing on the asphalt mixture design which directly service for pavementconstruction.This research provide an important reference in pavement construction for Aksuregion pavement construction projects. In this paper, the following studies based on havebeen carried out.(1) The performance tests have been carried out of road construction materials using inthis project. the aggregate gradations were determined by the programming method.(2) The mixs designing of AC-25, AC-20and AC-13graded were determined withMarshall method. Optimum asphalt contents of the mixs were determined and verified bytest results.The results OF tests show that which performance indicators to meet thehigh-grade road.(3) The hopper of the mixing plant was calibrated,and the design mixs were adjusted to determine the production mix, the optimum asphalt contents of the production mix weredetermined with the floating asphalt content. A pavement performance comparative analysiswas made between the design mixs and the production mix.
