With the development of economy and the automobile industry, there are moreand more automobile used in China, and the processing of a large number of scraptires has become an important research topic. To carry out the application of rubberasphalt in pavement maintenance engineering, can alleviate the waste rubber tyrepressure caused by environmental pollution, and can improve pavement performance,and has important economic and social benefits.This paper takes the rubber asphalt technology research and application inZhejiang as the background, combined with the Xin chang Jiangba line engineeringcase, from the performance, the evaluation index of asphalt rubber, compound rubberasphalt was studied more than several design and rubber asphalt production processetc.. Xinchang rubber asphalt test section of ARAC-13aggregate by basalt, whileadding slag aggregate accounted for2%; according to the characteristics of theproject design of Xinchang than with ARAC-13mixture, combined with the "rubberasphalt and mixture design and construction technical guidelines" requirements, bythe end of framework dense gradation inlaid type gradation, using Marshallcompaction method (double all75times), compaction temperature control at175to180℃; the aggregate gross volume relative density2.8, The initial asphalt aggregateratio is6.5%, Take double the75production Marshall specimen, through the test todetermine the best asphalt aggregate ratio of ARAC-13is7%.Combined with the laying of application of test section of Jiangba line inZhejiang Province,,the research team take continued usage detection of the testsection. providing data and technical support for the application of rubber asphalt inpavement maintenance engineering. Through the research, from the result of theexperiment, the volume index, water stability, high temperature properties ofARAC-13asphalt mixture are satisfied. The test results show that the materialmodulus of resilience of rubber asphalt mixture was higher than that of modifiedasphalt mixture, shows the intensity and non-deformability of the rubber asphaltmixture is superior to the modified asphalt mixture..
