With the unceasing development and maturity of the commercialvehicle market, people desire better ride comfort of commercial vehicle.As a direct contact with human, commercial vehicle seat has a direct impact on comfort. Therefore, study on comfort of commercial vehicle seathas significance for improving ride comfort.People demand different performance in different circumstances. Forexample, commercial vehicle work in highway, the suspension of seatshould be flexible in order to improve comfort; commercial vehicle run onroad which is low frequency and violent vibration, suspension ought tobe hard.Combined with the actual situation, the damper change of semi-active damping system can satisfy the requirement. This damping system isable to ensure perfect comfort in different environment by changing thedamper’s character of the shock absorber; the damper is soft on goodcondition; on bad road by manually or automatically adjusting the damping character of shock absorber, seat vibration will not be too violent.The original intention of this topic is precisely from this. We want todevelop a semi-active seat shock absorber, by manually when neededto adjust the shock absorber damping character. it can try to meet theneeds of drivers.First, the seat model is established in order to research and analysison the commercial vehicle seat, In order to provide a reliable model foroptimization, a test is designed.Then we build a road model and a vehicle model of6DOF to optimize the damping character of the shock absorber. According to the results of optimization, shock absorber is debugged until it is accord withthe expected results of our optimization.Finally, we design a road test to prove the effect of shock absorberand verify that commercial vehicle seat optimization platform which wehave established has practical significance, providing the foundation for our future work.
