MDQ1250/1250.50Gantry bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer belongs to largecomplex steel structure. It main works in large water conservancy site storage yard ofmining enterprises,used for coal-fired power. It is high efficiency equipment. Themain body structure of this machine is contains Rigid leg, Flexible leg, Activitiesbeam, Fixed beam, End beam, Hoisting Mechanism, Rise belt conveyer, WheelMachine, Reclaimer belt conveyer, Moving belt conveyer, Cleaning Device, PlatformSystem and Control System, etc. The theory design of the model has already beendone, now we will use the business software of CAE for the finite element analysis, toensure the reliable operation of the equipment. We want to check and calculat formetal structure. Mainly includes: Strength calculation and checking, stiffnesscalculation and checking, stability calculation and checking and special parts ofchecking. Find the not reasonable place of the design and provide a modification planfor equipment optimization to the manufacturer, and provide a theoretical basis fortheir design. Because the design-work this project is used AutoCAD software. So itdose not exist a data interface to the finite element analysis software. So we can onlyestablish the calculation model by myslfe, according to the manufacturer drawings. Inthis paper we use finite element method to nake a static analysis for the equipmentmetal structure.In the project establish the mode and calculation and analysis process allcompleted in the Pro/E software. This design analysis software function is very strongand Pro/E modeling and analysis of module can be seamless connection. It means thatcan directly into the Pro/Mechanica calculated by finite element analysis. It canundertake the global parameter driving, it also have a data correlation, that meanswhen we modify the geometric model it can directly modified finite element model.During the finite element analysis, the difficult is the link processing of the model.The size of the model is very large, so we must have a reasonable model simplified, tokeep the balance between the computation efficiency and the result precision. In theabove of that, we also make a modal analysis of the whole machine. Through the calculation of natural frequencies and external incentive frequency to judge whethercontrast structure resonance. After our calculation, by the analysis of the results, weput forward some improvement plan for the whole structure. So that can meet therequirements calculation, ensure the safety of the site. We also do rigid legs qualityoptimization design research. To provides some reference on the design of subsequentimprovement.Through the calculation of this project, I can be more profound the importantposition of CAE technology in actual production. CAE don’t need samples to analysis,as long as there is mathematical model. So it can make simulation before the sampleis product, do some modifications, get a better plan, and then make sample productionand batch production. The important of CAE is accurate, otherwise will have nomeaning. For the hardware, need to have good software and a powerful operationability of the computer, for the person, this need strong software operation ability, andprofound theoretical knowledge and rich experience. Widely used for practical madegreat contributions.
