With the rapid development of science and technology and the popularization ofdigital instrument is more and more high and in order to solve the increasinglycomplex digital system debugging and fault diagnosis problem, the logic analyzerLogic analyzer has been developed. Logic analyzer is one of the most representativetest tools in data domain measure, it can be very effective to solve the problems whichgenerate in digital systems such as data transmission is asynchronous and burr pulseinterference. Traditional logic analyzer is expensive and bulky. In recent years, theportable virtual logic analyzer based on embedded technology had greater progress。Both because the price is high and students learn and use it not enough convenient,university laboratory has not yet universal logic analyzer.The design is want to design a logic analyzer which meets the needs of teachingand make the students easy to use with high performance-to-price ratio.Comprehensive consideration, eventually adopting the‘MCU+FPGA+VEMIS+LabVIEW’design. VEMIS is virtual electronic measuring instrument integrationsystem.The instrument PC interface by LabVIEW software.Which convenient to collegestudents for reconstruction in software and users can increase their additionalprocedures for the realization of the instrument function reconstruction. LabVIEWuse the VEMIS bus to communicate to the hardware part of the MCU which parsingcommand control of the hardware part of the work. The application of FPGA hassimplified hardware structure, improve the hardware part of the work stability. Thevirtual logic analyzer can store a maximum depth of512Kb and can acquire16datasignal at the same time. The logic analyzer with the basic trigger, a delay trigger,sequence trigger and so on, and it can complete the burr detection function. The actualtests show that this instrument mechanic performance index can meet the basicrequirements of the experiment of college students.
