Along with our country economy and the development of the people’s incomelevel, in recent years, the car ownership of China also rapid growth. In2010, the carownership of China has reached70million cars. With the rapid increase of autopossession and car technology content rise ceaselessly, the automobile after-market isfacing a lot of opportunities and challenges, a variety of vehicle maintenanceequipment is R&D and application constantly.As a measuring instrument, four-wheel alignment has been more and moreextensive application in automobile repair industry, even become automobilemaintenance work necessary maintenance equipment. So the Vehicle maintenance andrepair industry has also formed a uniform standard, used to regulate four-wheelalignment market. According to the standard, the subject tried to develop a kind ofnew verification device of four-wheel alignment to check the accuracy of four-wheelalignment.In car driving and turn, the wheel of each basic parameters plays a very importantrole, these basic parameters mainly includes: the kingpin caster angle, the kingpininclination Angle, the camber Angle of wheel and the toe angle of wheel. Accordingto the concept of the basic parameters, this paper further research the detectionprinciple of four-wheel alignment, and amply introduces the current market dominantseveral four-wheel alignment, this also become the most reliable theoretical basis.According to the theoretical basis, this paper puts forward the new verificationequipment of four-wheel alignment research and development. In the originalverification equipment, on the basis of complex detect environmental and testingobjects are varied, verification device is changed substantially on the structure forimprove the verification device’s application performance.This paper introduced the working principle of the device, and the necessaryprecision analysis. According to the national standards and the relevant requirement oftest measuring tool, using the theory of traceability to calibrate the installation angleand the zero position of installation, and established corresponding testing programs.The implementation of these testing programs can prove the feasibility andpracticality of this verification device.In the process of detect four-wheel alignment, application of the verificationdevice of four-wheel alignment to detect the Angle sensor model and the linear model of four-wheel alignment. According to the analysis of the results, concludes thechange regularity of four-wheel positional parameters, and provides a theoretical andexperimental basis for the production of four-wheel alignment.This topic carried out a bold breakthrough in the theoretical basis of previousverification device, the new structure and the new adjustment device make the entireproduct’s application value get greatly improved, for the development of the industryalso opened up a new direction.
