With the development of society, car penetration rate is rising rapidly, whichbrings great convenience to the people, meets the needs of transportation ofgoods and personnel also improves families’ life quality. No doubt it requireshigher vehicle brake performance and controlling technique. Automobile brakeperformance is an important indicator of vehicle, brake relates to driving safety,so it is very significant, product quality is based on comprehensive testingsystems and high level testing equipments.However, it is impossible to carry out testing on road when a vehicle isunder designing and manufacturing, as a new special equipment, brake testingplatform is used for comprehensively testing and analyzing vehicle brakingperformance. Research of brake performance testing bench provides an effectivetechnical support to basic research of brake, it ensures the normal stable runningof automobile, motorcycle brake system and it has a wide application prospect.In this thesis, research is based on the platform of brake testing bench, electricinertia technology is adapted to simulate the actual wheel brake by usingflywheels. First of all, according to the methods of physics and mechanicaltheories, the equivalent moment of the automobile braking process is calculatedout. Secondly, based on mechanical inertia simulation technology, analysis of themechanical inertia is made in detail, according to the recursion induction methodand the relationship between drive current and motor torque, a motor drivingcurrent mathematical model is established. Then based on the known conditions,the result and the control method of driving current are given. Finally, closedloop control theory and PID control theory with additional filter are introduced,compared with the current and inertia changes according to MATLAB softwareprogramming, anti interference and energy error are used for inspection, optimalthe wheel brake speed is optimized according to the simulation speed and actualspeed error feedback results. The result shows that: by using the PID controlsystem, the current is more stable, the simulation inertia value is closer to the real value, the system error is lesser. The brake testing bench can simulate thebrake actual usage patterns and environmental conditions better. With filter, thesystem responding more quickly, which can eliminate the static error, enhanceanti-interference ability, guarantee a least brake torque under the maximumconstant current.The brake testing bench can simulate the brake actual usage patterns andenvironmental conditions better. This experiment model can be applied tovarieties of vehicle braking performance testing, such as automobile benchsystem, synchronous testing bench and so on. At the same time, this research canalso be used in biomedical engineering, such as feedback controlling in chemicalproduction and pressure monitoring in the papermaking process system. Thispaper has certain reference in controlling method research and system design forvarious types of test system of large rotational inertia.
