In recent years, shear wall structure buildings widely applies in high-rise residential buildings because it has the advantages of good spatial integrity, good seismic performance,the high-rise shear wall structure residential building large investment and long construction period, so It has very important significance of optimized design.the optimization design based on the design principles in the feasible region optimization method to search for all the design and to find the best design. Structural optimization can ensure security ahead of the most rational use of material properties, after optimization, it can make the structure stress to be more reasonable and economic.In this paper, the shear wall structure residential as the research object, based on optimal design theory and current specifications, using the software of STAWE and ANSYS, taking a shear wall structure residential building as an example to optimize the structure, mainly done the following work:1. Using the current specification, with the number of shear wall and decorate the optimal as the object, to optimize the layout of the structure, after optimization calculate using our common design software STAWE, compared before and after the structure optimization of the dynamic properties, deformation and internal force characteristics, through the contrast can be informed, after optimization structure of the cycle and drift angle become larger, they shows that the structural rigidity smaller, the materials to be more fully used.2.According to optimized shearing force wall arrangement use finite element analysis software ANSYS finite element mode and gain its modal analysis and spectrum analysis, contrast to the modal analysis of cycle and SATWE software cycle, the results agree well.3.With ANSYS software for the tool,it based on modal analysis and spectral analysis carries on the optimization the thick to Shear wall, shear wall reinforcement in the optimization of wall thickness before and after are dominated by structural reinforcement, the lightest weight to structure as the goal, the structure is on the top of the maximum displacement constraint conditions of meet the standard in the premise, established to structure optimization model is optimized, through optimization shear wall thick wall by200mm to160mm, the weight of the structure to reduce by nearly10%.
