Along with the development of automobile industry, energy crisis and environmental pollution are more and more prominent. Requiring for automobile is continuously improved, modern car is not only energy efficiency, safety and environmental protection, but also it is required to meet comfortableness and control stability.But only relying on the traditional mechanical structure cannot meet request which is put forward, electronic technology and information technology must be applied to make the performance of automobile to get breakthrough progress.All kinds of the electronic control module is more and more applied to auto parts, the engine of electronic control is also becoming more and more popular.Traditional cable type throttle system is driven directly by the driving valve plate, the air intake flow is depended on the driver control totally, this way can’t meet the need of engine performance optimization, so electronic throttle is the necessary technology which can optimized performance engine.The first generation of electronic throttle system adopted independent control module, engine ECU can’t intervene throttle effectively, so the engine performance optimization effect is not obvious.The second generation electronic throttle system adopted ECU integrated process control integrated control, through comprehensive information throttle was controlled; throttle control was hold by engine ECU module, which is helpful for coordination control of torque.This paper researches an electronic throttle system, using CATIA to design3D throttle pedal and adopting the giant magnetic resistance technology to design throttle pedal and angle sensor.Based on advantages that good anti-interference and high precision of sampling of giant magnetic resistance, non-contact angle sensor of electronic throttle pedal is designed. The motor control system of the throttle and torque transmission system are researched the throttle nonlinear characteristics is analyzed, the mathematical model of the torque transmission is established, the throttle control system was further studied, this article researches the PID control and nonlinear PID control, and then the simulation curves are got. Using Delphi hardware in the loop system and MT22.1series engine management system, the throttle valve is calibrated and experimented. Looking from the experiment results, nonlinear PID in throttle control system has quick response and good follow.In this paper, the electronic throttle system was further researched. The collection precision of angle was improved by the technology of the giant magneto resistance. Using nonlinear PID control can be solve throttle control nonlinear problem better. The paper can be reference for design and development of electronic throttle system, and also has important significance to improve the accuracy of the system, quality and reliability response.
