In recent years, with the development of computer technology, information technology, and automatic control technology, the automatization degree of the modern ship become higher and higher. As the primary part of modern ship automatization,engine room supervision system makes engineer timely command the operation of main and auxiliary equipments systems,and the real-time control operational parameters of sub systems,engine room is critical to the security of ship voyage. Compared to traditional engine room monitoring systems, marine engine room monitoring system which based on fully distributed network has obvious advantages. In view of the automatic monitoring system mostly adopt the foreign products, therefore, carry out the research of advanced distributed network of marine engine roommonitoring system has considerable significance.This resaerch is based on the laboratory project:Design of the Marine Engine Room Simulator Software in ZhouShan,specific studies including:(1)Introduced the current development of engine room monitoring system and fieldbus technology,at home and aborad,compared several typical fieldbus, indicating that advantage of the marine field bus control system.(2)Described the distributed monitoring system which proposed by the Navy,including an overview of the distributed monitoring system, commonly used network topology and its reliability analysis, the composition of the marine engine room monitoring system and the classification of monitor signals, commonly methods that used in sensor and data acquisition, the design standards of the marine engine room monitoring system.(3)Discussed Fieldbus which is used in marine engine room monitoring system. Owing to a variety of fieldbus, take the DeviceNet bus which are started at software and hardware development as an example for making research of the development of network nodes;According to the bus selection requirements, optimized the multi-bus integrated program of marine engine room monitoring system.(4)Fully designed distributed network engine room monitoring system. Firstly, according to the classification of routine monitoring of the signal, the selection of database system, storage of the video image data,network topology and selection of the protocol, to described needs of the monitoring system;then, from the data flow, control flow, functional processes to set out the design ideas of the whole system; described the overall structure of the monitoring system, but also on the software and database of the marine monitoring, followed by the show of main interface of the monitoring software; In addition, discussed the real-time integration of numerous data, real-time transmission reliability of video image, real-time remote data transmission and other key issues.
