DC-DC stored energy converter technique is widely applied in photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation uninterrupted power supply, new energy vehicles and renewable energy field and so on. The main function of the converter is to control power flow between energy storage unit and energy source. This dissertation presents the design of a DC-DC energy storage converter applied in on-line uninterrupted power supply. In the power supply, When AC mains power is available, the battery is being charged continuously through the converter, while the AC power outage occurs, the converter works to boost, battery energy into the load. This condition ensures the load work normally.Firstly, the dissertation discusses the background and significance of DC-DC energy storage converter, it also analyses the relevant circuit topology and control technology. According to the design requirement, the dissertation discusses several feasible schemes. Through comparing the circuit parameters and structure, it determines the scheme that two unidirectional DC-DC converters are anti-parallel connected to realize the bi-directional energy transfer, while analysing the advantages, disadvantages and possible problems in the experiment.Secondly, it designs the hardware and software of DC-DC energy storage converter in detail. This converter mainly includes battery booster circuit, battery charging circuit and control circuit. Booster circuit adopts the push-pull mode structure and peak current-mode control, which is efficient solution for DC bias magnetic problem in push-pull topology. Battery charging circuit adopts the half-bridge circuit structure. This structure can reduce the turn-off voltage effectively at high bus voltage. The input and output capacitances are interoperable, in this way, it can not only reduce costs, and also maintain continuity in the switchover process. Hardware design includes the design of high frequency transformer, output inductance, drive circuit and signal conditioning circuit, etc. Digital control chip is dsP1C33FJ16GS504, The software design mainly includes system initial module, interrupt controller, PID controller and related subroutine.Finally, the power circuit of the DC-DC energy storage converter makes Pspice simulation and the experimental analysis. The experimental result states that each circuit module of the converter works properly. Besides, it have good heat dissipation, less radioactivity and strong anti-interference ability.
