Reasearch On PMSM Motor Used In Electrical Bus

Recently the induction motor has often been used in HEV bus, whereas as the lowefficiency and bad power density always troubles us, so the PMSM studied here toreplace the induction motor. As known to all that,PMSM mostly used in small electricalcars, seldom used in high power electrical bus driving system. The goal of this paper isto develop a kind of PMSM can not only achieve high efficiency but also smaller andlighter than conventional induction motor. For the reason above, this paper focuses onthe study of the structure of the PMSM, discusses three kinds of PMSM with distinctslot/pole combination used in electrical bus of different winding arrangements. On thebasis of electromagnetic design of the PMSM, the armature reaction inductions of themotor was calculated and the efficiency map and three special operating point has beenverified using the way that field-circuit combinated,and at the same time the rotor stressworking in high speed were simulated.Finally, a comparison among three motors wasmade.All together6chapters are made in this paper.During the first chapter introductionthe development and research status of the PMSM motor used in electrical cars areelaborated.In the second chapter three kinds of designs are discussed and structureoptimization are made as well as the parameters of armature reaction Inductances arecalculated. Simulated the stress reaction of the rotor in high speed and mainly focusedon the design and comparison of the lightening hole in the third chapter. Analyzing theefficiency of the motor using Rmxprt software and estimation of the whole efficiencyarea of the PMSM has been done in order to evaluate the performance of three motors inchapter4. Preliminarily simulated and analyzed the control system of PMSM in vectorcontrol strategy using MATALB in chapter5. Summary has been done to this paper inchapter6.
