Discussion On The Characteristic Construction Structure Of Riverside Landscape Architecture In The Zhangzhou City

Urban waterfront is the very important part in the city landscape construction. Inrecent years, Zhangzhou government and relevant departments catching the advantageof geographical condition, strengthening the construction of riverside landscapearchitecture in the Zhangzhou city, to create a garden living environment for thecitizens of Zhangzhou. How to construct the riverside landscape architecture in theZhangzhou city scientifically and reasonably, giving the new life for our city, is theimportant issues which the urban planning of Zhangzhou city and the garden workersfacing.The paper clearly stated to have the characteristic culture of Zhangzhou for thefoundation, and mate the harvests of city waterfront landscape design’s theory, tobuild a platform for the characteristic construction of riverside landscape architecturein the Zhangzhou city, considering further from three parts: research foundation, theprinciples and methods in planning and design, and creative practice. Firstly, thepaper based on the present situation of waterfront landscape construction in thedomestic and foreign city, combined with the basic principle of the characteristicconstruction of riverside landscape architecture in the city, clarified the presentsituation and the existing problems in the construction of riverside landscapearchitecture in the Zhangzhou city, which based on the corresponding theories andpractice researches, and put forward some ideas of characteristic construction ofriverside landscape architecture in the Zhangzhou city targetedly.The characteristic construction is the core idea of this article, mainly byemphasizing and excavating Zhangzhou cultural landscape elements, such ashistorical buildings, historical figures and stories, folk customs, geographical featuresof landscape, local materials, combining with human psychology and behavior, suchas the strengthening the construction of hydrophilic environment and the introduce ofcharacteristics activities in the waterfront to injecte fresh blood and vitality to theriverside landscape of Zhangzhou city, and combining with the characteristicslandscape form design with diversity in unity, the three together, in order to find out amore characteristic model for riverside landscape architecture of the Zhangzhou cityin the new period. Thus, providing reference to the sustainable development of riverside landscape architecture of the Zhangzhou city for local department anddecision-makers, to improve Zhangzhou city landscape.
