Study On Post-evaluation Of Urban Linear Waterfront Landsape

Urban city linear waterfront is a transmission zone which connects the land environment with the water area environment.It is always the most ecological wide open space in a city,which is also the place where the human care is presented in the city.Taking the waterfront landscape belt in Hangzhou Qiantang River(Binjiang District)as the research example,the post use evaluation method is adopted to give a comprehensive analysis of the use status of the landscape,provide the reference for the landscape planning and designing of a similar type in the waterfront area together with the suggestions concerning the deficiencies.Based on the objective,the essay firstly conducts a study on the development process and cases both at home and abroad in the linear waterfront landscape belts,later the research and combing are taken on the existed theoretical basis of the POE research methods after it is evaluated in the essay.Taking the cases Shanghai,Hangzhou as references,combined with the features of the landscape belts along the river in Qiantang River(Binjiang District),POE elements are optimized hereto.In the set of the elements,three evaluation factors of the users,Landscape architecture,functionality of supporting facilities are included and then several sub factors are classified too.The element of the users emphasizes the behavior habits of the users while the element of the landscape architecture is classified into five sub factors of plants and terrain;and the functionality of supporting facilities takes the presentation of the landscape features and service functions as the principle,such as the supporting facilities of the shade shelter,barrier-free facilities and so on.The objects of study of Xixing Great Bridge,the Renaissance Bridge,Qiantangjiang Bridge and Zhijiang Bridge are made as the milestones in the article before the users' satisfaction questionnaire is compiled,dividing into three sections of A,B and C through organizing a research team of 9 people.From the beginning to the end of July in 2018,the first-hand materials were obtained via field survey,interviewing and so on before the using habits and preferences of the tourists in the landscape belts along the river were obtained through SD Semantic difference evaluation method as well as the satisfaction degree of the landscape architecture and supporting facilities.The data shows that the landscape belts along the river can adjust to the local conditions during the designing time,successfully building an outdoor open area with abundant functions and beautiful sceneries to provide a comfortable leisure environment with a modern sense for the users.All the specifications in A section in the landscape belt along the river all satisfies the requirement of the users,reaching to a degree of basic satisfaction.However,there are also some deficiencies in section B and C.In addition,optimization proposals are proposed on the analysis and summary in the article.Please find the suggestions in detail:First,optimize the supporting e facilities of section B and C;build the functional space of different types to forge the features along the riverside.It is proposed at the end of the article that the reflections of the landscape architecture in the urban city city linear waterfront areas based on the evaluation after use,expound the importance of linear waterfront landscape architecture to the city image,the influences on the users of different landscape architecture elements and supporting facilities in linear waterfront area as well as the importance of the post-use evaluation to the landscape architecture.An analysis research is conducted on the urban city city linear waterfront in the way of post-use evaluation in the article to provide reliable basis and reference for the future planning and design.It is also hoped that the urban city decision makers can take references of the post-use evaluation of the project according to the human-oriented principle to provide better waterfront space for the citizens.
