Energy conservation and environmental protection has become one of the main themes in the world today.Especially along with the rapid development of science and technology.Solar which is an unlimited supply of the use of renewable energy also increasingly mature,and with the new lighting devices of LED lamp found, the emergence of the energy saving, environmental protection, high efficiency, long life and so on the advantages of the outstanding all this make solar photovoltaic lighting system is more vitality. This paper focus on the intelligent controller for photovoltaic LED to the center to carry out the photovoltaic corresponding research with Photovoltaic lighting LED system.The article first analyzed domestic and foreign in recent years (pv) power and the application of LED development situation, to introduce a photovoltaic LED intelligent controller and its corresponding introduced. Secondly analyzed and discussed the LED lighting system of basic photovoltaic structures. Introduced the principle of solar cells and through Matlab/Simulink get solar cells characteristic curve. On this basis, compared several commonly used such as conductivity incremental method, disturbance observation method, constant voltage methods advantages and disadvantages to achieve MPPT in ordet to get improved version of the maximum power point tracking method, this method can realize the MPPT quickly, and can prevent "misjudgment" happens.In order to save electric energy and protect battery. This article compares the advantages and disadvantages of the constant current charging、PWM charging、constant voltage and solid resistance charging and stage charging methods to get the new charging method of controlling strategy that is variable resistance of maximum power point two stages charging method. The method can protect the battery in the basis of charging more rapid, and the energy can be saved.Based on the MCU of AVR series ATmega16to design photovoltaic LED lighting intelligent controller. The controller has high reliability, good stability, intelligent outstanding characteristics, can use in various environments,and there’s a battery charging put and protection function.Introduces and detailed analysis of the relevant software flow chart and the hardware circuit principle of works. Through the actual test, which indicate that the design intelligent controller is feasible and stable.
