Crushed shale ceramist has the advantages of high performance characteristics, which is applied in many places such as high-rise buildings, large span bridge, city overpass, subway, tunnel projects. Jiangxi has rich resources of sericite slate, which is the good raw material of crushed shale ceramist. So it has an important meaning in the research on gravel type shale ceramsite concrete research development of the province of slate resource efficient use especially for slate waste comprehensive utilizationThis paper studies the type to crushed shale ceramist and ceramic sand for aggregate ceramsite concrete and ceramic sand mortar production process and performance.The writer discuses different factors which may influence the ceramsite concrete and mortar’s work performance, mechanical properties and durability, such as components materials, water-binder ratio, aggregate gradation, admixtures, glass beads, pre-wetting process. Then the writer compared the differences in durability between ceramsite concrete and mortar, analyzing the relevance between the gravel type shale ceramsite concrete mechanical properties and thermal property. According to the result of the experiment, setting up the relationship between data table.The experiment of Ceramic sand cement mortar show that when the cement-sand ratio in150~600,we can produce the shale ceramic sand cement mortar which density is between500~800levels. When the volume percent of thick ceramic sand (2.36~4.75mm) is10%in all ceramic sand, it shows the best performance. when we use glass beads to replace s the hale ceramic sand in the same volume percent, we find that can improve ceramic sand of cement mortar compressive strength、adhesive strength、consistency and reduce the stratification of mortar. However, it will increase the dry shrinkage of cement mortar, when the volume percent of it is25%, it shows the best performance.The writer use the single factor variable method to research the influences in the working performance and mechanical properties when the compositions of the crushed shale ceramist concrete are changed. The experimental results show that:Improving glues water than will improve the liquidity of concrete but also significantly reduce its mechanical properties. Adding coal ash will improve the workability of ceramsite concrete, when the replacement ratio is less than15%, the strength of concrete has less influence. Adding silica fume can improve the strength of concrete, but it also significantly reduces the work performance. When the maximum diameter of ceramsite is15mm-20mm,it can show the best performance.The pre-wetting of ceramsite has less influence in slumps but can significantly reduce the new mix of concrete slump loss. When choose sand as the fine aggregate, the sand ratio should be less than0.4.The study of durability shows that the frost resistance and anti-permeability of crushed shale ceramist are better than ordinary concrete rubble, while the wear resistance is not good and contraction is larger.According to Technical specification for lightweight aggregate concrete (JGJ51-2002),the LC10~LC30crushed shale ceramist concrete which the writer make show the better performance, it is suitable for application in a thermal insulation structure component and the building wall materials.
