The Project Management Of Fengman Dam Reconstruction Engineering In The Feasibility Study Stase

The FengMan water power station is the first big hydraulic power plant in China. There were a great many technicians and managers once worked here, so it is called "the Mother of hydraulic power". For historical reasons, there had been many problems since it was put to use during the past70years of operation. Although continuous maintenance measurements had been taken, there are many problems unresolved. This reconstruction project is a pioneered one at home and abroad, so there is no experience or models concerning how to manage it. This essay focuses on the features of hydraulic power project and construction program; the features of the project management and a summary of the characteristics, comparing with the project management abroad, analyzing the exist problems, like bid management, pointing out different phenomenon at different ranks of management. In the feasibility study stage management process of FengMan Hydropower stations, we established a more scientific, rational and more complete organization. And the introduction of SAP system formed a R/3system, the knowledge, skills, technology, tools are all used in the activities of the feasibility study phase of the project management of FengMan hydropower stations. A scientific and rational business process diagrams was used to simplify the hydropower stations business processes in the feasibility phase of the project management process. It also used a scientific and rational series of tender in the tendering process of FengMan water station reconstruction. Finally, according to the empirical results of the analysis, the Management program of FengMan Hydropower in the phase of feasibility study stage is established. We hope this essay will give some experience of similar project management, and give technology support for the rapid and sound development of China economy and power construction of power system.
