Therefore, in order to choose a reasonablesite for wind resource assessment, it is necessary in advance of the proposed windfarm area.International wind resource assessment software WAsP software developed bythe Danish laboratory, but the software is developed for relatively flat terrain of theEuropean wind resource assessment software, generally12position, with our morecomplex the terrain differ significantly. Therefore, the use of the WAsP software,there will be some deviation of wind resource assessment, so the view of thecomplexity of the terrain and landscape, through VB6.0programming developmentone in line with the16orientation of the wind resource assessment software.This article focuses on the research status of wind power development, windresource measurement methods and parameters, mainly on-site measured wind speed10min average wind speed, atmospheric pressure, atmospheric temperature, standarddeviation and direction, and then based on the assessment of the principle of the dataobtained on-site finishing, amendments and additions to finishing the site for at leastone year of data every10min, and then calculate the wind resource assessmentsoftware consecutive year of data to sort out the various parameters needed by thewind resource assessment.Wind resource assessment software developed and combined with theinternational general wind resource assessment software WAsP wind resource parameters on the the Xinjiang Xiaocaohu region estimates, need to get the variousparameters, the micro site for the latter part of the wind farm to provide a basis andreference.
