Because of the closer space, complex inner structure, intensive crowd and traffic flowand the big mobility, the multi-layer underground transportation hub’s security system is veryfragile, and the rescue and evacuation for it is very hard. Once having an accident, theconsequence is unimaginable. When accident happens, the important work is to evacuatequickly and reduce casualties as best as we can. This thesis will research the key questions formulti-layer underground transportation hub evacuation. It hopes that the research results willimprove the evacuation theory system and provide the reference for evacuation design.The key questions of the evacuation will be studied as follows: psychology factorinfluence on evacuation, stayer in evacuation and the evacuation analysis results’ reliability.The analysis of the conformity scale factor, retention rate in evacuation and reliability in thisthesis are under the Beijing west railway station engineering project, so obtain someconclusions for Beijing west railway station. First of all, the people psychology andbehavioral characteristic in the fire is summarized. Through the questionnaire survey forBeijing railway station passengers, we obtain the passengers’ psychology and behavioralcharacteristic under the emergency evacuation. According to questionnaire results, we analyzeconformity psychology influence on evacuation, put forward conformity scale factorand applythe conformity scale factor to evacuation computer simulation. Secondly, review therelationship for crowd density with blocking and congestion degree. According to the result ofconformity psychology computer simulation, present the definition and computing method forretention rate in evacuation, and build Log-linear model relationship for crowd density andnumbers with retention rate in evacuation. At last, apply reliability theory in evacuationtime’s safety evaluation. According to traditional evacuation time design formula, buildreliability limit state equation and obtain the evacuation time reliability, and analyze howdifferent factor influences the reliability.
