| Planting volume and demand of blueberries increase rapidly at home and abroad nowadays, so blueberries have been in short supply for years. But low efficiency and high fruit broken ratio of manual harvesting method restrict the whole blueberry related industry from developing. In some developed countries, blueberry harvesters have been invented. But high import price, different size and function which have been designed based on foreign standards and long distance transportation difficulties prevent foreign blueberry harvesters from promoting use. Developing one kind of Chinese blueberry harvester which is more suitable and higher in price ratio maybe promote the blueberry industry development in China.For demand that little damage to the blueberry bush while the plants go through blueberry harvester, the mechine can’t equip vehicle continuous axle, chassis or lower cross-beam. Its body and frame have special U-shaped structure which have been used abroad, but seldom found in China. The stress and rigidity don’t have related developed academic materials. Our team gathered some foreign product advantages and disadvantages to design one new Chinese-suitable blueberry harvester. Body and frame is an important component in our team. It not only made each system have reasonable layout and better operation, but provided a stable structure for harvester complicated farmland working environment.This article firstly designed body and frame mechanics model based on demotion sizes, layout and functions of all systems. Then, Pro/E model of harvester body and frame is established. Steel material for the structure is chosen. And ANSYS static analysis model under full-loaded bend condition is taken to calculate stress and strain for the frame. Later, optimized model repeat the whole analysis process again. Blueberry harvester prototype is made, and strain and stiffness experiments are done in dangerous areas which analysis results refer to. In the end, torsional rigidity calculation of frame-only model and frame-and-body model are carried on, and bending rigidity analysis also proves perfect. Simplified experiment testing torsional and bending rigidity also check and verify enough rigidity of the structure.After calculation, analysis and experiments, blueberry harvester’s strain and stiffness can totally meet static full-loaded working condition of the whole harvester. Adequate stress and lightweight body and frame give good security for blueberry harvester dynamic stress and stiffness. |
