The Inverted trapezoidal spatial prestressed Hollow Structural Sections(HSS) truss structure is a kind of brand-new structure form, which combined with the advantage of the HSS truss structure and the prestressed steel structures, and make the structure more reasonable. At present, the person of specialized research about the prestressed HSS truss structure is less in our country. The finished actual building has only Suzhou International Expo Center project. In this project, Unique various height converse trapezoid with parallel bottom chord trusses, the prestressed shuttle shape spatial truss are constructed in roof. The article’s engineering background is the structure of Suzhou international exhibition center designed originally. Based on the current research achievements, Making use of the space-tube truss design software MST2008, ANSYS finite element software and ANSYS Parametric Design Language. Some analysis and contrast about truss structure and prestressed truss structure is made in the aspects of the structure weight. Based on the analysis and contrast, some useful conclusions are made and some advices are given in the paper. In addition, the seismic response time path analysis is about two different section form (the Inverted trapezoidal and the Inverted triangle) prestressed HSS truss structure of the high-span-ratio1/15and90-meter-span. Some dynamical and the seismic response characteristics about the Inverted trapezoidal spatial prestressed HSS truss and the Inverted triangle spatial prestressed HSS truss are concluded under the same rigidity condition. Based on the dynamical analysis, some useful conclusions and some advice are given in the paper.The main contents in this paper have:(1) Analysis and constrast is made which is about six kind of the different span truss, and then the reasonable structural form and the recommendable application range are given.(2) Dynamical characteristic analysis and constrast is made,which is about two different section form prestressed HSS truss structure of the high-span-ratio1/15and90-meter-span, and then the dynamical character of the Inverted trapezoidal prestressed HSS truss structure and the Inverted triangle HSS truss structure are given.The main works are accomplished as follows:(1) The development situation of the prestressed HSS truss structure at home and abroad is briefly introduced.(2) The research and theory anlyasis method of the prestressed HSS truss structure is briefly introduced.(3) A brief introduction to analyze the engineering background in the calculation.(4) Introduce the basic thought and step of the finite element, and then build up some different parameter’s finite element models that make use of analysis and mst2008are made. (5) To analyze and compare the differences between the vibration characteristics under the two different section form.(6) Dynamical analysis is made and then constrast of the Inverted trapezoidal prestressed and the Inverted triangle HSS truss is made.(7) Summarize and analyze conclusions, put forward some suggestions to the related engineering design and analysis.
