Research Of Preliminary Design Of The New World China Ultra-high-rise Office Tower

The Ultra-high-rise building which is the carrier of people’s production activity and life during the development of city is always related to construction of city. Ultra-high-rise building goes into the stage of city construction along with the expansion of city, which results in development of building technology and social economy, promotion of architectural function and space requirement.Ultra-high-rise building can be the name card of city and solve the paradox between booming population and sharply declining land well on the strength of its own advantage. Ultra-high-rise building is the symbol of technology progress, it promotes the creativity and revolution of architectural technology, material and theory. On the one hand, Ultra-high-rise building reforms the original environmental characteristic and spacial morphology of city, on the other hand, it influence the people’s activity by means of redefining the architectural space organization.Ultra-high-rise building rises widely in the range of city along with city’s development. It would bring negative impact to high density zone which has large population and complicate functions. First, the huge scale of Ultra-high-rise building would effect the city’s landscape, skyline and spacial morphology of high density zone; Second, the huge scale of Ultra-high-rise building would effect the high density zone’s natural conditions such as ventilation and lighting etc. Last, the stream of human and vehicle of the Ultra-high-rise building would effect would increase the traffic burden in the high density zone.In order to build the city’s image, promote the spacial quality and achieve the reasonable input-output ratio, it is necessary to choose appropriate architectural form, structure system, unique resolution during the design process of Ultra-high-rise building.This article takes Ultra-high-rise building as the main research object, the preliminary design of the New World Office Tower as the main case studies. Through theoretical research and analysis to achieve the goal that harmonize the relationship of Ultra-high-rise building and the surrounding buildings in high density zone, achieve reasonable input-output ratio, improve the spacial quality. Finally, summarize the design method and theory of Ultra-high-rise building in high density zone, provide design reference and design idea for other domestic Ultra-high-rise building cases.
