Relay protection is the most important tool to make the power system work safely and improves the quality of power energy. With the expansion of the power system and the consumer raising higher requirement for quality of power energy, the protection relay must be improved greatly to fulfill the higher requirement.Based on the analysis for microcomputer protection of high voltage line, the dissertation designs an adaptive microcomputer protection of high voltage line which is based on embedded systems. Firstly, This paper introduces the developing history, the actuality, and new developing aspect of microcomputer protection. Secondly, emphasized to analyze the software and hardware design principle of the embedded network system based on the company of Samsung 32 bit embedded microprocessor S3C4510B, putting out the software thought and the hardware principle diagram. In hardware designing of the microcomputer protection, it mainly presents the realization of telemetering circuit, teleindication circuit, and telecommand circuit. This paper particular discusses the configuring and work principle of line protection, analyzes algorithm of microcomputer protection.
