Urban landscape is the nature of the city’s major reflection, and it is also the spirit carrier of the citizens. it includes not only the visible image of the architectures, mountains, rivers, green plants, but also people’s spiritual customs, folk tales, etc..Presently, due to the rapid development of our city, the spread of the modern civilization and the ubiquitous modern industrial production, make the modern city turning to a "general character" way of development, and the cityscape gradually lost its original geographical, cultural features. Worse even, it seems most of the cities in China become more and more homogeneous. In terms of the urban landscape, there are plenty of practical projects and novel proposals at home and abroad. But there is no specific research method as well as no popularizing approach for the evaluation index system. Therefore, in this essay, we continue to study the evaluation and research methods of the urban landscape, which based on the AHP analytic hierarchy process and the results of previous studies. Except for detailed analyzing several kinds of cityscapes, this essay also combined with some related theories and classic cases of other cities’ landscape and view sights. This essay primary take Chenzhou for example, work out its features of landscapes and the shortcomings of the urban landscape by associating with the actual conditions and practical problems in every respect.By using AHP system analysis software, interpret the weight of each project, refining the emphasis and found the key to the problem. And then sum up the essence of the urban landscape of chenzhou, which in order to find out the concrete implementation measures. Finally, there is a conclusion for the study which related to the significance and the limitation of this research.
