As more and more excavators have been used in construction, and user put more attention on working efficiency and energy-saving of excavator. Study on work performance of excavator becomes the strongly concerned both home and abroad. Theory analysis, simulation and test study on flow division of its hydraulic system under the work condition of leveling are done in this thesis. The main research works are as follows:The current researches, application and problems of excavator leveling work system are investigated. At the same time, the significance of excavator leveling system is expounded. The characteristics of lever working are analyzed, and the math mode of excavator’s hydraulic system is given theoretically. The entitative reason of coupling of the hydraulic system under the work condition of leveling is analyzed. According to the motion match demand of manipulator when an excavator perform a leveling work, the relation of flow division between boom cylinder and arm cylinder is analyzed, and the match relation of throttles for arm regeneration flow is given.Based on the characteristics of leveling work, the conventional hydraulic system model of excavator is built with help of AMESim software, and the dynamic model of it is built by means of Adams software. A co-simulation model of excavator mechanic-hydraulic system is built by using of interface technology. The single motion and leveling work of excavator are simulated based on the co-simulation model and tested. Correctness of the model is verified. The simulation result and test datas are analyzed deeply, and the reasons of low efficiency and high energy consumption when the excavator performs leveling work are confirmed. Based on it, a new hydraulic system of leveling is firstly proposed. At the same time, the new system is studied by means of simulation and test.
