Hunan Chenzhou is located in the hilly and mountain region, in recent years, with the Xiangshan road and chenzigui road reconstruction projects, as a representative of the municipal construction project process, often meet with instability issues like landslides and instability of cutting slope in the operation period. Slope is an open system, in under the common function of external factors (such as rainfall, artificial excavation), the slope of the engineering geological and hydro-geological characteristics and slope deformation will change dynamically over time, and the stability of the slope will also be changed. At present, in the traditional slope stability analysis method, usually with the limit equilibrium theory, ignoring the creep property of geotechnical engineering, no consideration for slope development over time, creep deformation increase, engineering geological conditions change and physical mechanical parameters of weakening, shear strength lower, leading to the stability of the slope safety coefficient decreasing and even landslide disaster. So it is great important meaning to consider creep characteristics of long-term slope stability analysis and landslide disaster forecast.Based on the Xiangshan Road in K3+260-K3+660for cutting slope or landslide on the left as the research object, this paper analyzes the geotechnical engineering formation reasons of the landslide, and the main composition red clay basic physical and mechanical properties of strength and water sensitivity test; establish the relevant function model, showing the law that geotechnical strength parameters with the moisture content increase,the strength attenuation; According to the theory of geotechnical rheology, this paper analyzes the Xiangshan Road K3+260-K3+660slope deformation of the creep characteristics, as well as in under the effect of rainfall, and "equivalent load" effect as rainfall on the slope creep deformation; Then in considering the red clay creep characteristics, the Xiangshan road in K3+260-K3+660slope stability analysis is calculated; Further, by the use of the PLAXIS finite element analysis software to simulate the creep deformation of the third time landslide state, it proves of the slope creep damage characteristics, process, and no convergence creep displacement. Finally, dynamic treatment and evaluation is carried out according to the creep slope monitoring, the result shows a good effect and avoids the happening of the fourth big landslide.
