| The frequent occurrence of car accidents were gradually attracted as the rapiddevelopment of automotive technology, especially for large-scale vehicles, the trafficaccidents occurred in high-speed case was extremely serious because of its quality, sopeople began to focus on the safety of large-scale car issues. The automobile safetyresearch objects were mostly small vehicles at home and abroad. For the large-scalevehicles, there was a single algorithm, detection distance not controllable and brakingcomfort poor on the safety technology. In this paper, the laser pulses ranging was beused to detect the car with the front obstacle distance, to study a retarder fuzzy controlto achieve the expected braking solutions, which, for the crash in the light of thelarge-scale vehicles brake indicators on the basis of system related to the laser pulseranging principle, the laser transmitting and receiving circuits, the time intervalmeasurement and retarder fuzzy controller and the establishment of the department oftechnology was be study an discussed in-depth.In this paper, we used fly-across the time interval of laser pulses ranging, themeasurement error caused by counting module computing the TDC-GP2laser time offlight, reducing the laser pulse rise and fall times measured in order to achieve the150m distance error of0.5m providing a reliable guarantee.
